Dr. John Meffen is a well-respected pianist, teacher, and scholar of music, who has devoted his life to the art of the piano.
A principal lecturer for many years, he has conducted research into keyboard temperaments throughout history and has had his work published internationally. He is the adjudicator member of the British Federation of Festivals, the Music Secretary of the Darlington Music Festival, and the associate conductor of the Darlington Orchestra. Dr. Meffen lives in Great Britain.
