Iris Dorbian is a former actress turned journalist whose articles have appeared in a number of publications that include Playbill, the Forward,Back Stage,Live Design,Dance Spirit, DanceTeacher, and Pointe. For eight years, she was the editor-in-chief of Stage Directions, a national theater trade monthly. A resident of New York City, she has a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
