Pamela Phillips Oland is an award-winning songwriter and lyricist and the author of Art of Writing Great Lyrics (Allworth Press). With more than 300 recorded songs to her credit, including dozens of film and TV uses, she is in demand as a writer in many genres from pop to rock to R&B and more. Artists who have recorded her work range from Aretha Franklin to Reba McIntyre, The Jacksons to Whitney Houston, Selena to Sinatra. Oland has just completed end title lyrics for two feature films, Blizzard (with Director LeVar Burton) and Puerto Vallarta Squeeze (recorded by tenor Daniel Rodriguez). Currently, she is writing with American Idol winner and recording artist Ryan Starr, with whom she is enjoying a powerful collaboration, a "terrific blending of life experiences and viewpoints." She lives with her husband Robert in Los Angeles.
