Jorge Frascara is an internationally renowned authority on communication design. He has been president of Icograda, and chairman of art and design at the University of Alberta, Canada, where he teaches visual communication design. He has worked in illustration, film animation, advertising, and graphic design, and has taught in Canada, Italy, Guatemala, and Argentina for nearly forty years. He has published several monographs and more than fifty articles on communication design in leading journals such as Information Design Journal, Design Issues, and Visible Language.
