Michael Jefferson is a graduate of Pratt Institute. He quickly learned that his studies in computer graphics and graphic design did not prepare him for finding work and his frustration led him to explore the subject of job-hunting in the design field. In the course of his research and interviews with experienced professionals, he became an expert on the application process and it is that research that resulted in this book. Applying the information he learned allowed Michael to find a rewarding, full-time position as a graphic designer. He lives in Washington, D.C.
